Based on experience, the bare chassis without the fire-fighting body weighs less than 4 tons.

Therefore, highly attractive as a platform for building a robust expedition vehicle that, when ready for travel with practical equipment, realistically remains under the 7.49 t gross vehicle weight, perhaps even leaving some payload reserve.

This example already features the newer 6-cylinder engine with 6,823 cc and 150 hp.
