The sterilizer is designed for steam sterilization of a wide range of materials, including laboratory glassware, infusion fluids, culture media and microbiological samples, medical instruments, surgical linens, dressing materials, rubber goods, as well as metal and plastic containers. It is primarily used in laboratories, hospitals, clinics, outpatient facilities, and pharmacies.

The autoclave was in operation until March 31, 2026, at the microbiology laboratory of the Silesian Library, where it was used as a “clean” unit for sterilizing small laboratory equipment—on average once a week. It was dismantled in working condition and remains in good technical state. The unit holds valid UDT inspections, and it comes complete with manufacturer’s documentation and the report from the most recent inspection, confirming the current validity of the internal inspection and pressure test.
