Voortman V600

Voortman V600 drilling system for profiles and flat steel with traversable drilling unit.

The CNC-controlled drilling unit is longitudinally traversable, with adjustment and travel measurement from 0 to 18,300 mm. The maximum machining length of a steel profile is 15,000 mm. Tool changes for the HSS coolant-channel drills are performed using a manual quick-change tool holder. Workpiece clamping is achieved through a vertical hydraulic hold-down, which clamps the workpiece (profile or flat steel) at the target position for the drilling operation.

The drilling unit is equipped with web and flange height measurement, fully automatic electronic stepless feed and speed control (continuous monitoring), delivering optimal machining performance. Adjustment is provided by a frequency-controlled spindle drive, and the marking of punch points is possible.

Voortman Control:

VACON 110, IBM-compatible PC Pentium 233MHz with VGA/TFT graphics card. CAD data for profile processing can be imported via USB stick in DSTV or NC format, or entered manually at the operator panel of the machine. The machine is equipped with Windows 98 - DOS.
