ZERMA GSH

The ZERMA GSH series granulators are extremely robust machines designed for the most demanding applications, tailored to the diverse requirements of modern recycling operations.

Constructed from heavy-duty steel and welded housings, these machines can withstand exceptional stresses. The bearings, blade mounting, and rotor shaft are significantly oversized, making them extremely durable. Thanks to easy conversion, both solid lumps and thick-walled pipes, as well as hollow bodies and films, can be efficiently granulated.

Depending on specific operational requirements (including for temperature-sensitive materials), various rotor configurations are available, but all share one feature: advanced and superior V-cut technology.

All machines in the GSH series consistently deliver high-quality regrind—whether from crate boxes, profiles, sheets, films, start-up lumps, or pipes. They are economical, highly reliable, easy to clean, and have a long service life.

Combined with the extensive range of ZERMA options, accessories (such as extraction systems, conveyors, metal detectors, fine material separators, roller feed systems, etc.), and spare parts, this results in a processing system that is optimized to individual requirements. The advantages are evident in significantly reduced costs, time, and labor.

Thoughtfully designed housing
The housing is diagonally split in the middle, and the upper section with feed hopper can be hydraulically opened, providing complete access to the rotor for knife changes and cleaning. The screen insert is also held by a hydraulically tilting screen cradle, facilitating optimal access for screen removal and installation. The screen insert is reversible.

Robust external bearing arrangement
Another well-considered design feature is the external bearing arrangement. Sturdy rolling bearings in cast steel housings ensure long service life and are ideal for the toughest applications. The external bearings prevent grease from entering the grinding chamber and, conversely, processed material or fine particles from entering the bearings. This provides a significant advantage, especially during wet operation of the machine.

Flywheel
To compensate for shock loads during granulation, an optional flywheel is available. The rotors are equipped as standard with a second shaft end to accommodate the flywheel.

High operational safety
All granulators comply with EU machinery directives and are CE-marked. Operational safety is ensured by features such as overrun protection devices with limit switches and hydraulically unlockable check valves.
