The Granit 500 is a tractor produced by Hanomag in the 1960s, which replaced the R 332 Granit. In the course of its production time, the engine power was increased to 40 hp by increasing the engine speed. Another year later, the design of the hood changed. Water-cooled four-stroke three-cylinder diesel engine, type D21 CR with swirl chamber process, wet cylinder liners, oil bath air filter, crankshaft with four bearings, suspended conical valves, pressure circulation lubrication, strainer jacket filter, centrifugal governor and thermostatic dual-circuit cooling.
