The vehicle, taking into account its age and commercial usage, was in a heavily used maintenance and care condition.

Signs of wear and tear as well as defects due to age can be found in the following list, as far as these were identifiable/known at the time. There was only a minor degree of corrosive impact.

- Dust cap for coupling head compressed air supply (red and yellow) missing
- Light corrosion on frame and mounted parts
- Age-related signs of use all around.

According to the available inspection (HU) report:
- Brake discs on the 3rd axle: contact surface insufficient
- Service and parking brake: minimum braking force not achieved
- Frame cracked at front left and right
- Brake caliper 1st axle seized
- Vibration damper 2nd axle right damaged
- Floor plate ruptured
- Mountings at front, middle, and rear insufficient.
