The universal spindle lathe SU 1500 Variant is a numerically controlled machine designed for roughing and finishing shaft and flange components, thread cutting, drilling, turning of tapers, and various rotationally symmetric faces. The machine features a horizontal bed in a rigid design; the bed guideways are hardened and ground, while the corresponding surfaces on the longitudinal slide are coated with Turcite B sliding material. The SU 1500 Variant is a machine with automatic cycle control, equipped with a Heidenhain CNC system.

Longitudinal feed drive – Z-axis – is controlled by a servo drive directly to the ball screw. Cross feed drive – X-axis – is also servo-driven directly onto the ball screw. Position feedback for both feeds is provided by encoders mounted on the servo motors. The machine can be operated either manually or CNC-controlled.

Offered here is a TOS SU 1500 Variant CNC lathe with Heidenhain control, year 1999. This lathe is in very good original condition. It comes from a facility where it was only lightly used in special production. The control system is very user-friendly. The guideways are regularly lubricated via centralized lubrication. The TOS SU 1500 Variant has been mechanically and electrically tested in our workshop. Take the opportunity to see and test the TOS SU 1500 Variant under power at our premises.
