For sale: a complete, fully automated line for finger jointing wooden elements, based on the WEINIG GRECON HS 120 finger jointing machine. The line is designed for industrial production of lengthwise-glued components. It is an ideal solution for facilities processing scantlings and mouldings that require high performance, repeatability, and stable joint quality.

The entire process is automated and designed for continuous operation with minimal operator involvement.

Line composition and equipment

WEINIG GRECON HS 120 finger jointing machine – year of manufacture: 2018
Complete working line including a brush infeed conveyor for wooden elements, two through-feed moulders, an automatic glue applicator, a pre-pressing station for finger-jointed elements, and a press with a pressing length of 6.5 meters.

Automatic finger jointer loading – ABB robotic cell
ABB IRB 6640 four-axis robot performing automatic loading of wooden elements up to 600 mm in length. The system is equipped with two pallet cells, enabling uninterrupted, alternating operation of the entire line without downtime. Robotic cell year of manufacture: 2021.

Automatic glue supply system
Automatic glue feeding to the finger jointer from a 1,000-liter IBC container. Integrated automatic stirrer ensures a consistent quality of glue application and continuous production process.

Outfeed pick-up after pressing – FAMAD scissor lift
FAMAD DBNA-40T DUO scissor lift installed at the finger jointer press, dedicated for picking up mouldings after jointing. Automatic height adjustment. Working table dimensions: 6.0 x 1.3 meters.

Material handling system
Roller conveyor system with turntables, enabling transport of scantlings to the robot loader cell and finger jointer. The solution ensures smooth material flow and continuous operation of the entire line.

Roller storage for finger-jointed elements
Roller storage buffer for storing mouldings after finger jointing. Storage area with a total length of 82 meters.
